Part 2 and 3.......

Well here's the next part to the Ky story. First I want to say that the reason I am writting all of this is because last year I didn't have a blog, and I always wanted to record this whole crazy experience. I figured that with Ky's first birthday coming in a few days now would be a good time. Ky had to stay at the hospital for 12 days after he was born. It was extremely hard to leave him there, and every once in a while I would burst into tears wanting my baby to be home with me. Kelly and I went to see him every day and we would get to feed him or just hold him. Twelve days seemed like forever, but being six weeks early he really could have been there much longer. I know I know..... I look tired. Well, I was!!!!
I love how these pictures show how big his pacifier was to his face

Cute little peanut!!!

The day before this I had a melt down, and Kelly told me to go to the hospital. I cried the whole way there. I tried to get myself together before I went in the NICU, but when I went in the nurse greeted me asking me how I was. I burst into tears again and told her not very good. She said, "Well would it help if I told you your baby gets to come home tomorrow?" I looked up at her and said, "What? Are you serious?" She assured me she was, and from then on I was HAPPY!!!
Right before we left one of the nurses wanted to take him around to show him off to all of the other nurses. She was telling everyone what his shirt said. I may be little, but I think big! The NICU nurses all loved him from the time he was born so they were excited to see him doing well!

We were so excited to be taking him home!

Jenna kept the girls while we went to get him. They were so cute to him when we brought him home! Always loving him! Sometimes a little too much!!

After we got home later in the day we took this picture just to show how little he was. Crazy Huh?

He looks like he was as small as all of my little heart patients! (My babies at work have bad hearts, but we fix them!) I bet one of my docs saw Ky when he was born - they usually see all of the little babinos that are that small. Where was he born?

Wow he was little. I would have been a mess also. I wouldn't want to leave my baby in the hospital. What hospital were you at? I think it's great that your recording this now, due to no blog last year. He is so handsome now.. He looks so small in kelly's arms. How sweet of a boy he is. I hope this next child birth is smoother for you.

He was born at Valley hospital. Not my favorite place in the world, but it was ok!
