It is my tradition to put up my Christmas decorations before thankgiving so yay it's my lucky year to have Kelly home to help. For the last two years our pre-lit Christmas tree had a spot where the lights didn't work and I would just string extra lights on it. This year not only did he put up the tree he was also bound and determined to fix it.
This is the great little tool that helped him fix the lights. He got it from his favorite store Home Depot. He went through every little light on the section that was out, and sure enough he found the bad one and fixed it. He never ceases to amaze me. I swear I don't know of anyone who can fix things like he can. I just have to say I have the best husband. He takes such good care of me and our kids. He is the hardest worker I know and I love and appreciate him sooooooo much. I love you Kelly!
At one point in our decorating we found the nativity all set up on the kitchen table looking like this. Baby Jesus and the animals seem to be the most important part this year thanks to Kaylee. It gave us a good laugh!
We put a tree in the girls room this year and we all had a lot of fun decorating it together! Kaylee wanted it to be blue!
Karsyn found her thumb for a minute and I had to take a picture!
Wide awake!!!
Agggghhhhh!!!!
This outfit is one that my mom bought and decided she didn't like so she tried to give it to either me or one of my sisters. Jenna and her have been playing this game of give back and putting it in the funniest places. For example Jenna tacked it to the ceiling above my mom's bed. My mom put it in the drivers seat of Jenna's car one time and so on. Well recently Tracy decided she wanted in on it and had the dentist she works for wear it to pull Aly's (Jenna's daughter) teeth. After that the outfit and this manican head ended up on our block wall so I guess we're in now too. We are trying to figure a good way to give it back to my mom.

Love the pics, and I am sooooo very sad that we won't be there this weekend! I have an idea about how to give it back to you mom. Drum roll....... have your dad wear it one day when your mom walks in the door. Think Norm would be up for it?! "OOOOhhh, you get out of here!"
That outfit it INSANE!! Hilarious! Good for you for getting Christmas set up so soon after having a baby. You are one motivated mama!
Also, I need your address for our Christmas cards. Email me: ariane.p.smith@gmail.com
Ohhh, maybe sneak over when Jenna is gone and put it under her sheets, so when she pulls back her covers at night the outfit will be waiting for her :)
