Snow Day!!!

I know this picture is sideways, but doesn't she look like the kid on A Christmas Story? I was putting on her boots and looked up to see her laying there all serious with her arms straight out. Ha ha! What in the world!?! Where do we think we live, Utah? I can not believe it snowed in Las Vegas! Yesterday Kelly and I were Christmas shopping and it was snowing, but nothing was sticking. It was funny that we had the conversation about what would happen if it snowed a lot and stuck on the ground. We probably wouldn't even have a single snow plow in Las Vegas even if we needed one. Then we decided that would never happen. So we go into the mall to shop, and a couple hours later when we come out Las Vegas has turned into a stinkin winter wonderland! We couldn't be more shocked, but I know we have all enjoyed it! These are a few shots of our backyard!

Kaylee and Kenzie played in it yesterday at Jenna's, last night when we got home, and first thing this morning! Kenzie did cry a little about being too cold, and Kaylee keeps sneaking out every now an then to get a little more snow action. Fun, fun, fun!

I loved this few from our balcony. I would never have pictured snow on the waterfall of our pool. Probably something we might never see again!

Just another view from the balcony!

This is the desert next to us and the mountains with more snow than I have ever seen on them!

I have been meaning to blog about this all week. Last Saturday night my mom and dad babysat while Kelly and I went to my ten year high school reunion. It ended up being fun and so nice to see people that I haven't seen in so long. That night my mom wrapped Kaylee's hair around these rags to try an curl it for church in the morning. When I took the rags out this is what Kaylee's hair looked like. Me, Kaylee, and Kenzie laughed our heads off, and I kept calling Kaylee Bozo all morning. I worked my hairstyling magic, and luckily she looked much better for church.

One more little story I never want to forget. On Sunday after church my mom came over, and I was asking her what I should do about singing in the choir for church next Sunday. Kelly will be at the fire station. My Mom, Dad, and Jenna won't be available to help with my kids. So that leaves Tracy, and my older nieces to help. Anyway I was trying to figure it all out, and Kaylee kept throwing her two cents in having now idea what we were talking about. Then my mom suggested, "How about seein if Riss(my sister-in-law) could come?" Kaylee busts out all big and loud with, " Well who's seenafriss? We don't even know her?" HA ha ha ha! I thought I might fall to the ground because I was laughing so hard! That has got to be one on my favorite things Kaylee has ever said!

Kids and snow...a great combination! It was exciting to see it stick this time. That's funny about Kaylee's curls, we had done foam ones in Jessica's Saturday night and she had quite the "fro" in the morning too!

AHHHH! HA HA! Kaylee!!! That is pretty funny. Luke even just asked me what I was laughing at here in my office. That makes me laugh about her! Winter wonderlands are fun, unless you have to shovel it all of the time. 4 words.... I LOVE YOUR BACKYARD!!!

The pictures look so pretty. I especially love the one of your pool, the snow looks so out of place! Kaylee's curls crack me up!

I feel really good (well as good as you can I guess). Noah isn't a fan of my pregnancy, he hits and pushes my stomach - I think he's jealous because it takes up lap space. Oh well, hopefully he'll like her more when she's on the outside!

She could star in Annie! Only she is sooo much cuter than the original Annie! Madelin has been watching that movie all week cuz she got it for Christmas. She sings the songs and gets mad when she forgets the words and gets stuck. It makes for a few good laughs.
