Soooooo late!

I know, I know I'm a little late. Ok maybe a lot late. I just haven't been able to catch up on anything lately. Laundry, sleep, kids, cleaning up, and obviously blogging. I haven't even been able to look at blogs. So now I wanted to record the great Christmas we had. Here is Kaylee and Kenzie with their new baby dolls. They actually weigh as much as a real baby and their dolls have hair to match theirs. At first Kaylee decided she wanted her doll to be a boy and named it Rico. Ha ha! I guess that name came from the Hannah Montana show. Kenzie named her doll Gabriella. That came from High School Musical. It's her favorite play name. Ky had fun on his first Christmas where he actually got presents! He didn't quite know what to think.
This year was Karsyns turn to be the baby that didn't get any presents. She was a cute Christmas babe!

Santa brought a jumpy house that the kids love so much. That was all Kenzie wanted so yay Santa delivered!

When I was young my mom used to get different colored string for each person in the family and string it all over in a designated room. It went up and down and all around. We would have to wind up, and follow our own string until we got to the end. At the end would be another great present. We are carrying on that same tradition called the strings and the older our kids get they are loving it. At the end of their strings this year was a bike for Kenzie, and a scooter for Kaylee. Kaylee crashed pretty good on her scooter so it took a couple of days for her to get back on. She's still not too sure about it.

Christmas night the Brinkerhoff's came over. We ate yummy soup that they brought and had our annual gingerbread house contest. Seriza and Kelly are always very competitive, but this year Stephanie came ready to win. Her house did end up pretty cute, and we voted her the winner.

This is what we called our gingerbread house neighborhood.

Christmas Eve was spent with my family. I'm sad that I have no pictures but I forgot my camera. We enjoyed a nice night at my mom and dad's. We also went to Tracy and Steve's on Christmas morning for their traditional Christmas breakfast. All in all we had a wonderful Christmas and we loved every minute we got to spend with family.

just read your comment... WE did think about renting it out.. however we thought at the time we were moving out of state and better get it sold before we leave, than I got into the nursing program and knew we would not be able to get 2600 a month for it...thank you for your kind words we appreciate the support!

Oh how sweet - what a fun Christmas! Kaylee must have had a nice fall - it takes a lot to keep that kid down :(
