The Bowdens invited our whole family to come up to their family cabin. Kelly had to work and I wasn't sure if I wanted to do that alone. My Dad agreed to drive me which I am so happy about because the roads were very snowy. The first night was hard with Ky tossing and turning in my bed, but my sisters were so helpful getting up with us to give him some pepsi and an orange. Funny combo I know. He calmed right down and we were finally able to sleep.
The next day we went sledding, and had a blast! That night Kelly ended up surprising us and showed up at the cabin. Me and my kids were so happy to have him with us.
The kids loved the snow. Especially Kaylee, and sort of Kenzie. Kelly got to sled with us on New Year's eve before we drove home.
After all the fun we had we were so tired that by the time we got home we took showers and went to bed. We were all asleep by 10:30 and totally missed ringing in the new year. I personally was not totally bummed! Did I mention by that time I was sick too? Sick and tired......bad combo!

What a fun New Years. Glad Kelly came and surprised you, That was nice. Sorry you got sick. I hope your feeling better now.
